Labor Day generally signals summer’s last gasp, even though scientifically speaking, summer doesn’t end until the autumnal equinox occurs, which occurs around the 22rd of this month.
Retailers: of course you’re clearing out summer merchandise. But what are you doing for fun and engagement on social media?
Commiserate with your audience by sharing summer ending quotes. And be sure to ask about the fun things they did this summer!

I know it’s not right, but it’s true: most people are ready for Fall themes and imagery the day after Labor Day. If not before! 🙂
Pumpkin spice everything is here, and even though it may still be hotter than blazes, people are anticipating those cooler days to come. Be sure to feature fall products, projects, recipes, and colors.
For fun, ask what your audience plans to do on the first cool day, or share a few fall quotes with colorful graphics you make yourself.

The biggest dates in September are U.S.-based: Labor Day, and National Day of Service and Remembrance.

September 1 is National No Rhyme (Nor Reason) Day. What in your niche makes no sense? This might be a good question to ask your audience!
September 2* is U.S. Labor Day in 2024, as it’s the first Monday.
September 5 is the International Day of Charity. If appropriate, share your favorite charity.
September 6*, 2024 is National Lazy Mom’s Day (first Friday). If you sell something relaxing or indulgent, promote it a few days ahead.
September 9 is Wonderful Weirdos Day. Would your audience feel comfortable sharing their quirks? You go first!
September 11 is Patriot Day and National Day of Service and Remembrance, in memory of 9/11/2001.
September 12 is National Day of Encouragement. Here are some encouraging quotes about loving yourself you might like to post.
